Renewable Energy Sector – At an inflection point
- The renewable energy (RE) sector in Vietnam is currently underdeveloped but has huge long-term potential. Most RE projects have low profitability and there are currently no clear policy directives from the government.
- However, we believe the situation is beginning to change thanks to the evolution in technology, falling equipment costs, and more commitment from the government to clean energy.
- The sector is still nascent but clearly at an inflection point in its development.
